Hiking up Ben Nevis - Fri 21st to Sun 23rd June
In support of West Mercia Search & Rescue
Would you kindly consider helping us by making a donation to this worthy cause that has touched so many lives.
All of our fundraising efforts for the next 12 months will be in aid of West Mercia Search & Rescue.
West Mercia Search & Rescue is a local charity which offers a free water safety course, conducts water rescues and low-level land rescues for vulnerable adults. Hereford is a river city and the River Wye is a popular swimming spot for teenagers. One of our team members Liam Bunce has applied to be a volunteer with the charity.
Ben Nevis was chosen due to being the highest mountain in Britain and very challenging! We knew that we would have to train and be completely committed, much like the volunteers of WMSR.
Training so far includes climbing, bouldering, hiking and going to the gym. We are planning team training in the Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills.
Help grow West Mercia's Tribute by adding messages or memories you'd like to share.
